We've recently invested in a new camera slider that promises to elevate our current offerings. The MYT Works Medium Glide Slider is a four-foot slider that offers expert, durable craftsmanship in a user-friendly, easy-to-use design. When a Dana Dolly is too cumbersome, and a smaller, two or three foot slider won't give you the range you need, the MYT Works Medium Glide Slider is the solution. This tool has proven to require a bit more set-up time than some of our other sliders, but it has also proven to be worth the effort. One of the best features of this slider is the magnets built in to the ends of the slider and the slider head; the magnets induce resistance a few inches away from the track end, helping to eliminate abrupt/harsh ends to slides. Astera Titan LED Tubes Amaze
If you haven't heard of Astera's Titan LED Tubes, prepare to be amazed! Think Arri Skypanel, in a 41" tube. With a huge spectrum of color options, a large range of whites, and temperature range of 3200-6500K, you'll be able to find the color or temperature you need. These lights are optimized for an ultra-high TLCI, a very high CRI and peak brightness. Colors as well as Hue, Saturation and Intensity can be set directly on the tube, as well as remotely via DMX or an app. They can be configured and programmed to create amazing lighting effects, and can remember the commands even if all users are disconnected.

NanoLockit keeps perfect timecode!
Our new NanoLockit Wireless Timecode Generators are wonderful! One of our very few complaints about the Canon C300 Mark II is the tendency for timecode to drift. The timecode drift is usually very subtle, but any loss of synchronicity is not acceptable for post production. We’ve upgraded our on-board monitor selection to include the SmallHD 702 Bright. This amazing 7-inch on-camera monitor is great indoors, and amazing out-doors. This monitor is very bright, 1000 cd/m² bright! It’s also crisp like a potato chip, 1000:1 contrast ratio with a Full HD 1080 display! (One you pop, you can’t stop.) The battery situation is amazing too! Instead of having to choose between Sony, L-Series, and Canon LP-E6 batteries, you can use both! We did get an adapter that uses the LP-E6 slot to D-tap though, as these monitors require a bit more juice than the DP7. You can of course use SDI or HDMI, there’s a headphone jack, and it’s light weight, so, you’re in good hands with this monitor!

New gimbal for DSLR cameras!
DJI's latest effort, the Ronin-S, is now available! The newest addition to the Ronin family is a light-weight, easy-to-use gimbal specifically designed for use with DSLRs. The Ronin-S is designed with the roll motor offset, giving the user an unobstructed view of the LCD. Multiple modes of shooting, from ultra smooth to quick response are available, and can be programmed on buttons on the handle. A focus wheel on the side of the gimbal can be used in certain situations. The camera/lens payload is nearly five pounds, and the battery runtime is approximately twelve hours. This product is designed with the professional filmmaker in mind, but is easy enough for beginners to use. This item paired with our Canon 5D Mark IV and Rokinon Prime lenses will really make an incredible addition to your next Las Vegas video production or Long Beach video production. Edelkrone Steady Module: A Must Have!
F11 Rentals recently made an addition to our Edelkrone Slider Plus system. The recently released steady module was put through our series of real-life, on-location tests, and it passed with flying colors! Before this addition was released, executing completely smooth slides while shooting video wasn't always a guarantee. While the Slider Plus offers smooth, quality slides, there always seemed to be one specific speed you could slide at, and anything slower or faster included a few bumps or "hiccups".
With the Steady Module, tension is applied to the cable system, allowing friction to be transferred into the module, and away from the camera. Tension is also adjustable, allowing for an expanded range of speeds for your slides. This item is excellent, and we're excited to offer it along with the Motion and Action Modules with the Edelkrone Slider Plus system.
