How do I rent gear from F11 Rentals?
To rent gear from F11 Rentals, fill out a rental request form on f11rentals.com, send a direct email, or call F11 directly. The F11 team will follow up with a quote and confirm availability.
Does F11 Rentals offer multi-day or half-day rental pricing?
F11 Rentals lists single-day rates on all gear. Multi-day rentals qualify for four-day week pricing on most gear. Weekends are billed as single days. Half-day rates are not offered. Potential discounts vary per item and are noted on the quote.
Does F11 Rentals offer crewing services?
Yes. F11 Rentals helps source production crew for Las Vegas shoots, including grip, electric, camera assistants, gaffers, and other positions. F11 has a network of staffers and freelancers available for most crew positions.
Is F11 Rentals a co-op?
No. F11 Rentals owns its rental inventory. In some cases F11 will sub-rent from outside sources to complete an order, but only with the renter’s prior approval and only from trusted vendors.
Pick-ups, Deliveries, and Returns
What is F11’s delivery and after-hours policy?
F11 Rentals offers gear delivery and pick-up service within the Las Vegas metro area at $300 each way. Pickups or returns outside of normal business hours are billed at $100 per hour, calculated from close of business (5:00 PM). Weekends and holidays start at $150 for the scheduled window, plus $100 per hour after.
What if gear is missing from my package after pickup?
If gear is missing from an F11 Rentals package, contact F11 immediately, and the team will arrange to get the missing items to the rental location as soon as possible.
What happens if gear is late, lost, or damaged?
If rented gear is not returned on time, F11 Rentals will contact the renter to arrange return and may bill for the delayed time. Lost, damaged, or broken gear is billed at replacement cost, and F11 may bill for time lost while replacement gear is unavailable.
Can I build out or test gear at the F11 office or studio?
Yes. Renters can build out cameras, monitors, gimbals, and other gear at the F11 Rentals facility by appointment. Time blocks are booked in advance based on space and staff availability. Overages beyond the scheduled block are billed at $100 per hour.
Payment, Insurance, Rental Agreement
When does F11 Rentals require payment on an invoice?
Full payment, a Certificate of Insurance, and a signed Rental Agreement must be submitted before the rental period begins. No rental is guaranteed until payment is submitted. F11 Rentals does not offer payment plans.
What payment methods does F11 Rentals accept?
F11 Rentals accepts credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers via QuickBooks invoice, and cash. Checks are not accepted.
Do I need insurance to rent gear from F11 Rentals?
Yes. Every F11 Rentals rental requires a Certificate of Insurance covering at minimum the full replacement value of the rented gear. The policy must include property and liability coverage and specify that the coverage is for rented or leased equipment. F11 Rentals must be listed as the certificate holder at 6660 Escondido St. Suite 2, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Renters are responsible for verifying that coverage extends to their specific production type, including stunt work, underwater, and drone shoots.
What if I don’t have production insurance?
F11 Rentals recommends InsureMyEquipment.com and AthosInsurance.com, both of which specialize in short-term video production insurance. Credit card holds may additionally be required in some cases. F11 Rentals does not offer or purchase insurance policies on behalf of renters.
What is F11’s Rental Agreement and is it required?
The F11 Rentals Rental Agreement is a policy document covering rules, procedures, and responsibilities for renting gear and crew from F11 Rentals. A signed Rental Agreement is required for every rental in Las Vegas.
