Ahead of Germany’s Photokina, the rumor mill is churning and burning about a few new cameras. Canon is announcing the 5D Mark IV, which has a speculated 28MP full frame sensor, 4K video recording, ISO range of 100-51200 (expandable up to 204,800), a touch screen, and utilization of CFast 2.0 cards. The camera should retail around $3,200.00. This is Canon’s response to the release of Sony’s a7Rii which has the world’s first back-illuminated full frame sensor; the camera is capable of 42.4MP and utilizes the mirrorless technology that has made Sony’s a7 line so successful. Make sure to check out the Photokina site if you’re not going to make it out to Cologne.
