This 8 x 8′ Silent Gridcloth Lite Fabric will fit any frame. The 8 x 8′ butterflies measure approximately 7.8 x 7.8′.
Matthews fabrics are tested for even light distribution in a black chamber with an incandescent light source at one end, with the fabric positioned two thirds of the way between the source and the digital light meter. This cloth provides slight diffusion and minimal light loss.
It is best suited for outdoor video or cinematography when the rustling sound of fabric in the wind is unacceptable.
This is for heavy softening of sunlight or studio fixture output.
